Have just done this level with only 1 laser tower, 1 shock tower and 1 vortex providing a boost to my laser - quite easy for a hard level The hint is in the level opening - concentrate your fire straight down the line
This Tower Defense game for the iphone is highly addictive! I am possibly the first person in the world to work my way through all the levels without losing any lives. The designer of the game was impressed:
"Guy beats every level in #geodefense without losing a life!"
This is a great game and has kept me occupied for many hours... days... weeks... months. I managed to complete this challenge just a few days before Swarm arrived. You can see tips for that game on GD-Swarm.

Yes junaid, very elegant solution. HM, you never seem to use the vortex?
